What a wonderful day of fellowship and remembering the priceless gift of Christ who, through His perfect life of obedience and holy sacrifice, gives to those who believe in Him eternal life! It was a full house as we saw many first time visitors to the church bless us with their attendance, and many beloved familiar faces! The amount of work that went into this before today and the amount of work that went into it afterwards was incredible and achieved with a handful of volunteers sacrificing their time and energy. If not for them this festival could not have happened. Such a blessing to so many today!
We had craft tables for the kids - cookie decorations and ornament building; a craft table for adults - making wreaths, and a gingerbread house decoration competition for the kids! So much fun stuff to do, as well as a felt Christmas tree to be decorated, a beautiful set up for photo opportunities and reindeer games for the littlest attendees! And in the spirit of the season, Elizabeth and Veronica dressed as angels and drew tickets to hand out door prizes to the adults! And every child got a gift and a fun stocking stuffed with goodies! A great day of blessing others, being blessed, and gratefulness to our Lord. More pictures will likely pour in!
